Hand made object’s

The significance of well-designed and aesthetically pleasing objects has always held a special place in my life. As a professional photographer, I incorporate them into my images, considering them an integral part of my artistic expression. Over time, my visual sensibilities became more refined, drawing inspiration from my love for minimalism, the principles of Bauhaus, and the distinctive style of brutalism, notably influenced by Albert Speer.

In 2021, I acquired a 3.5-hectare forested land in eastern Poland. By 2022, the decision was made to embark on the journey of constructing my first home. Together with my partner, we envisioned a minimalistic haven for the two of us, with an unobstructed view of the forest. Utilizing our own pine wood timber marked the beginning of a profound connection with this material.

Working with timber was an entirely new experience for me; the scent of natural wood and the tactile connection with each piece during the summer construction were transformative. Our relationship with the timber deepened as we touched, rotated, and shaped it. Timber became an essential and cherished aspect of my life.

As we completed our house, a neighbor visited, casually seating themselves on a leftover beam. This encounter sparked a realization: not only did I want to craft a bench, but the surplus wooden waste also seemed too valuable to be discarded or burned. At 5 am, the idea for the first Beler emerged, transforming a simple project into a meaningful adventure.
